Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Dale's lift was witnessed by Brett Nicol, Jim & Rosemary Splaine, Lydia Nicol and the spectators in attendance. Dale returned in 2022 and walked the stones over a distance of 5ft. In April Dale pushed his walk out further covering an amazing distance of 12' 7"!
